Privacy policy

When you apply, we collect your name, email address, mobile phone, company (if you add one), which description fits you best, and how you heard about the program. Your password is stored by our account system in a form we can't read. When you accept the program terms, we record the version, the time, and the IP address it was accepted from.

To get paid, you give us a payout method and handle (Zelle or Venmo) and a W-9. The W-9 file is kept in private storage. We don't copy your tax ID into our database, and only the people who run payouts can open the file, through a link that expires within minutes.

When you log a referral, you give us the person's name, a phone number or email, where the project is, what they need, your relationship to them, how you introduced us, and any notes. You confirm you know them and they're expecting to hear from us. We use this to reach out to them about their project, to confirm that you introduced us, and to match the referral to the job in our records.

When we reach out, we tell the person who referred them. You see the status of your referrals; you don't see the customer's estimate, pricing, or project details.

This site uses a sign-in cookie, shared with other Wild Fox sites, so one Wild Fox account works across them. We log the IP address of requests to limit abuse of the forms. The public pages use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure visits (pages viewed, how you arrived, device type), which set Google cookies. The pages you see once you're signed in, and the sign-in and password pages, don't load them.

To run the program: review applications, verify referrals, track jobs, work out and pay commissions, send program emails, answer your messages, and meet tax reporting duties (for example, a 1099 when the law requires one).

The Wild Fox staff who run the program, and the providers that let us operate: our website and database hosting, our email delivery provider, the job management software where we keep customer and job records, and Google for the visit measurement described above. We don't sell or rent your information, or the information of the people you refer.

We keep program records as long as we need them to run the program and for tax and business record-keeping, then delete or archive them. We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you. Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and we honor these requests from anyone who asks. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Someone you referred can make the same requests about their own information.

You must be 18 or older to join the program.
